Maintenance Electrician

We are the third and newest branch of Calcit (Family-owned company) and we are looking for motivated electrical maintenance employees who can work independently but also in a team! We are currently in Terneuzen with +/- 40 employees.
About Calcit
We are one of the leading producers of high-quality calcium carbonate pigments, fillers and granulates on the European market. In short, we process minerals and stones into a liquid form that is then used in paper production. An example is the cover of magazines that becomes smoother, shinier and stronger because of our product. Needless to say, a good team with the right people is the key to our success.
The electrical engineering maintenance team works in three shifts. 06:00 – 14:00, 14:00 – 22:00, 22:00 – 06:00. You will have to rotate within these shifts.
As a maintenance worker Electro, you are responsible for:
- Troubleshooting, repairing, replacing and installing electrical components, including sensors, actuators, contactors, thermal overload relays, soft starters, circuit breakers, motors, solenoid valves, control valves, safety relays and defective wiring;
- Diagnosing and resolving faults in 400V motor control cabinets (MCCs), safety circuits and distribution boards;
- Diagnosing, wiring and maintaining 24V DC auxiliary systems, including emergency stop circuits, safety relays, solenoid valves and industrial control relays;
- Performing loop checks and signal tracing from field devices to PLC input modules;
- Using electrical wiring diagrams, P&ID schematics and loop drawings to plan and execute electrical repairs, troubleshooting and installations;
- Troubleshooting and parameterizing Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), preferably ABB;
- Performing basic diagnostics on Siemens PLC systems to identify faulty sensors and Profinet/Profibus network issues;
- Performing calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial instrumentation, including pressure transmitters, electromagnetic flowmeters, level sensors and temperature probes;
- Installing heavy electrical cables, mounting cable trays and carrying out cable gland terminations in harsh, wet or dusty industrial environments;
- Performing routine preventive maintenance procedures in accordance with the maintenance schedule and NEN 3140 requirements;
- Assisting Mechanical Maintainers with the repair, installation and maintenance of machines and equipment;
- Actively participating in the manual cleaning of production areas, dust removal and loading final products onto trucks, train wagons and barges (approximately 15% of total working time);
- Maintaining good housekeeping and cleanliness of the work area and equipment;
- Performing other tasks assigned by the supervisor in response to the immediate needs of the working process;
- Periodical rotating work in three shifts (including nights, and holidays);
- On call duty during scheduled rotate ng weekends.

What we ask of you:
- You are in possession of a IV. Degree of electro program;
- NEN3140 (VOP/VP level), BHV & Forklift Certification: Active and valid;
- Advanced ability to read and interpret complex electrical wiring diagrams, P&ID schematics, and loop drawings;
- Practical experience in troubleshooting and parameterization of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), preferably ABB;
- Basic knowledge of Siemens PLC systems, including online diagnostics and troubleshooting of sensors and Profinet/Profibus network issues;
- Experience with calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial instrumentation, including pressure transmitters, electromagnetic flowmeters, level sensors, and temperature probes;
- Basic knowledge of the English language;
- You can work accurately and independently.
