Functieomschrijving

As a Project Engineer within the Construction field, you will be central to turning initial concepts into reality by shaping the casco design. You will oversee the full engineering process for the hull, ensuring every component fits together flawlessly, from the earliest drawings to the final product. You will be responsible for maintaining quality standards, managing timelines, and keeping control over the budget. Do you have the expertise and drive to help realise remarkable projects?

Key Responsibilities:

• Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all project work complies with regulations, evaluating technical feasibility, and supporting the definition of project scopes. • You will lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and feedback while safeguarding project quality and maintaining thorough documentation. • Your tasks also involve participating in planning sessions, coordinating project schedules, managing information flows, and ensuring effective task distribution among team members. • Regular communication with clients, project leads, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and production teams will be essential to align expectations, monitor progress, and address potential challenges promptly.

Functie-eisen
• A Bachelor's or Master's education in Naval Architecture or a related field. • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Engineer or 3 years as a Project Engineer (or similar). • Proven experience in an engineering role focused on Construction, Casco builds within the shipbuilding industry. • Strong understanding of interior design principles and construction techniques. • Proficiency in CAD software and 3d modelling tools. Preferably Autocad, Cadmatic and NX knowledge. • Knowledge from and experience with structural design, hull engineering, exterior engineering, moving equipment and equipment integration. • Knowledge from FEM and stress analysis and weight and budgeting.

Deep technical insight into yacht building and production, and construction processes.

• You’re analytical by nature and have a high standard when it comes to delivering quality and results.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• A passion for excellence and attention to detail.
