Functieomschrijving
As a Static Maintenance Engineer, you are responsible for resolving technical issues and for preparing, safeguarding, and ensuring the quality of maintenance activities, projects, and overhauls related to static equipment within the assigned maintenance department.

Main responsibilities • Act as a role model and ensure that all activities are carried out in line with company values and the management system. • Review and/or compile work packages to enable effective execution at the required quality level, safeguarding the integrity, reliability, and availability of equipment. • Coordinate activities involving third-party contractors and service providers, and arrange procurement of parts required for repairs, projects, or overhauls. • Work closely with the inspection team to determine the most appropriate repair methods. • Lead teams during the preparation and execution phases of maintenance and construction work. • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal technical personnel, external parties, other sites, and the broader technical network. • Participate in the mechanical call-out (on-call) organization. You ensure that all activities are executed in accordance with the organization’s values and management system.

Functie-eisen
You have solid experience in maintenance, turnarounds, and project work within chemical plant environments, with particular expertise in piping, static equipment, and bulk handling systems. You are capable of addressing complex technical challenges using strong analytical abilities combined with a practical, hands-on mindset. Safety and reliability are embedded in the way you work, and you pair this with strong communication skills, an open mindset, and a high level of drive. As a team-oriented professional, you collaborate effectively with others to achieve shared objectives. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (Electro)Mechanical Engineering • Fluent in both Dutch and English • An external assessment is part of the application process Do you see yourself in this profile but don’t meet every single requirement?
